project simplify

It’s four days before Christmas (how that happened so fast, I’m not sure) and most people are running around doing last minute shopping, baking, or something else frenzied. But no siree, not me. My shopping is done. I’ve got no cookies to bake and no holiday parties to attend. I still need to pack, wrap my presents, and I should sew some more, but…I found a much easier alternative.

Instead of actually sitting hunched over at the machine, I decided it would be much more fun to watch people on TV do it. So I am sitting here with my feet up watching the hot, hot Heidi Klum host Project Runway. I don’t consider myself a fashionista (unless you count my Gap jean jacket as haute) but there is something about this show I can’t get enough of! They are all a little bit insane and yet they create some really cool stuff.

So anyway, this leads me to thinking that life would really be nice sometimes if watching Project Runway put clothes on my body, watching the Food Network put food on my table, watching the Apprentice paid my bills, and watching Survivor helped me lose ten pounds.
