love and hate, vacation withdrawal edition
love: That I am back in sub-100 degree weather. And coming home to Andrew and my kitties.
hate: No longer being in Mexico or spending my days lounging by the pool. Man, that was nice.
love: That my wedding is 95% planned!
hate: That my hair updo trial caused me to look like I should try out for the remake of Little House on the Prairie. I’m pretty sure people were judging me because of my hair when we went out to dinner afterward. That is not how you want to feel on your wedding day.
love: This weekend we are visiting my (almost) in-laws for my pre-birthday celebration. I can choose any dinner I want and my (almost) MIL will make it for me.
hate: That my choice of hot dogs and yummy cheesy pasta are not exactly on my diet.
love: Getting back into the early morning workout groove, in theory.
hate: Getting up at 5:30 am, and also? Running. And pushups.
love: All of you nice readers and commenters out there, picking out wedding bands this weekend, three day work weeks, and our new TiVo!
hate: That I am a mani/pedi addict (Jess – meet me at Tulip this weekend?), really long To Do lists, and too many work deadlines.

I love the glass of chocolate mike I had for breakfast and that once the milk was gone, there was still a pool of chocolate in the bottom of the cup.
It was yummy!

Hate: That my boss can’t take the time to print a document…I need to do it when I get back to work on Monday. Bleh.

Love: how cute the little kittens in my backyard are! I’m so obsessed with them!
Hate: how the kittens have caused me to realize how crappy the resources are for homeless animals in my town! The only shelter that will take them could potentially put them down if they aren’t adopted in two weeks!

Love: I had a Misto Shake from Rita’s today! Yum.
Hate: After the fantastic Dog Chase of 2006, I got to go to the dentist for a crown. Fuuuuun.
Love: We’re getting closer and closer to vacation time!
Hate: I still need to lose weight to look good in my bikini.

Love: The stuff I made in cooking class last night (Scotch eggs, Bilbao style shrimp, spinach salad with a warm bacon vinaigrette and a Basquaise style apple tart. Yummm…)
Hate: Gypsy Moths, needing to go visit the doctor, calories and fat grams
Love: Black Cherry Citrus Fresca and Weight Watchers Ice Cream Cones
Hate: My Knitty Clapotis that took too much work to make for something so lackluster.
Love: Alias reruns, my schedule next week, my black & white checked shoes with patent leather accents just because they’re different and I can wear them to work,

I too am hoping for a destination wedding… been to two thus far. They are phenomenal. SO MUCH FUN!!
