love: OMG thank god it’s Friday, for awhile there I was questioning if I would make it through the week
hate: winter and cold and feeling frozen to the bone 24-7
love: Thursday night TV. I am finally a fan of the Office. I used to cringe so much that I had to turn it off, but I finally appreciate the hilarity of it all now.
hate: that I have not rewarded myself with a manicure/pedicure because I haven’t lost 10 lbs yet. Gah!
love: I’m going to a baby shower at a bar this weekend. Hilarious.
hate: I have been selected for federal jury duty in March for five weeks! Well, assuming they still want me when I show up. But this isn’t your average sissy local court; I am ready for some serious drama. (I know, they probably won’t choose me.)
love: that Andrew doesn’t care if I steal his deoderant when I’m running late.
hate: that I seriously smell like a man today.
love: humans of the MALE variety who leave me a comment today. Also, all my regular ladies too. And all of you who have recently delurked! Tell me what you love and hate in the comments.

Love: Pam and Jim on “The Office”! The show used to cause me pain, too, but now I’m a fan. I loved how the wedding last night was such a rip-off of Pam’s plans. She is just great.
Hate: Michael on “The Office”. Oh, my goodness. Want to strangle.
Love: an eerily quiet weekend ahead of me.
Hate: that I need a suit and the quiet may turn into a fit of “why can’t I fit anything and why does it cost so darn much?!”
Love: Girl Scout cookies! Mm, thin mints.

Love: That my brother-in-law is getting married THIS weekend, and my brother is getting married NEXT weekend, in two totally different states.
Love: (Obviously) Traveling!
Hate: My airbrush tanning session (I have never done one of these before but HELLO, it’s February and I am white as a sheet!) has been canceled twice now and I’m not sure I’m going to have even an ounce of color for the wedding pictures!
Love: No one looks at anyone besides the bride in wedding pictures anyway, so who really cares

I often wonder if there are any boys out there in the blogosphere too. I think the only one on my blog is my brother. And he never comments either.
Jury duty: yikes!! What is federal jury duty? FIVE WEEKS? I had jury duty last year, and I got chosen, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Baltimore. It destroyed my faith in my city and the justice system. It made me question how people are able to get up and dress themselves in the morning, and yet they CHECK THE WRONG BOX on the “guilty/not guilty” form. Gah. I hope you don’t get chosen, although it would provide great blog material!

Love: Maps – love seeing the world so nicely organized, color-coordinated and labeled. (yes, I’m OCD)
Hate: people who don’t know the capital of Spain or Australia and, even worse, don’t care.
Love: shoes – all types. Heels, heels & more heels. (I vary it a little; wedge or stiletto? Boot or strappy sandal?)
Hate: that my room-mate tells the entire world how many pairs of shoes I have. I feel like they judge me! It’s a cheaper and healthier habit than drugs or gambling! What’s the big deal?!?
