Ralph Lauren Romance
I’ve been searching for a fragrance for myself for eons now. This one caught my, uhhh, nose the other day when I was buying cologne for the husband. Thanks, by the way, for your suggestions. Any chance one of you readers wears this scent?

I’ve been wearing RL Romance for years. It’s fabulous and light.

    And…I love Cat Power!

And finally — we painted our entire house in the most awesome gray two years ago. It’s POLARIS by Ralph Lauren (I think you can get it at Home Depot). We actually just had it matched to the cheaper BEHR paints. Anyway, it’s not too dark, not too light, perfectly gray and in some lights has a little blue tint. But it was beautiful. And then we moved. And now my entire new house is “burnt cashew” and I miss the serene gray walls…

I wear romance once in awhile, it can be overpowering at times. Have you tried Fendi Palazzo, Calvin Klein Euphoria, or V by Valentino? Those are my current faves!

I’m really interested to see how those gray walls turn out. I never would have thought to pick a color like that.

Anna Karenina is taking over my life because our book club meeting is next week, oh, my goodness. I’m spending a bunch of money over at Bed Bath & Beyond on wedding/shower gifts. And I’m listening to a lot of Caedmon’s Call so as to bulk up for seeing them in concert tomorrow. :)

I used to wear Romance and loved it. My mom liked it too, so I felt the need not to smell like my mom…. I like D&G Light Blue as my new scent. I love Romance however!

Sadly, my Dr. D really STILL just loves the smell of Tommy Girl. I have a bottle from Eons ago and I wear it like once a year and he always notices.

I saw a commercial for that pasta- looks yum!

I am so excited you are painting something a dark color! Matte or gloss? Matte is pretty, but I’ve heard the maintenance kind of sucks. Like you cant clean it off…

Love Romance. It was my scent until I found Burbery London.

    MMMMM.
Also- Please tell Mother Nature to stop hating me. This snow is RUINING my weekend.

Romance is YUMMY! I wear it! So, I mean, I guess I HOPE it’s yummy… ’cause if it’s not, then I’m stinky!

I love Cat Power! And gray walls!

Also, I splurged on a bottle of Romance in, like, 1999… then I broke it and I have never been able to convince myself to replace it. As punishment for my carelessness. 9 years ago. I am sad.

I love the gray colors. Something I have been considering for our hallway.

    Up To:
Listening to my dreadfully small selection on my iPod.

Reading Shopaholic and Baby, the first book A.M. (After Maria!)

Enjoying my new contract for work. Especially the part where I have to buy and wear new clothes! I feel like such an adult in my suits! Yea!

Getting my name off the mailing list for American Girl, because it scares the crap out of me and my husband! My daughter can play with affordable dolls! And my mother can sew the matching outfits! Yikes!

I actually have a bottle of RL Romance that a friend left over a LONG time ago, and since she lives out of state, I never got around to getting it back to her (oops!). Needless to say I started using it and have added it to my perfume collection. It’s very pretty smelling and great for spring/summer. It may sound weird, but I like to wear this perfume when I use self tanner, because the scents kind of work together and it helps to mask the self tanner smell…

Oh, and I LOVE gnocchi! My grandma is from naples and once every blue moon we make it from scratch…it’s SO good! :)

I love Romance. I don’t wear it that often but everytime I wear it my boyfriend gets excited and tells me how great I smell.

I love grey walls. My friend painted her bathroom grey and it looks so cozy. I love it. I can’t wait to see it.

Romance is a great scent. My current favorite is Rosewood by Banana Republic. It’s feminine and floral and really lovely.

Have you listened to the Juno soundtrack? Sea of Love is it along with a bunch of quirky songs. I’m also loving right now…. Band of Horses, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. I’m watching…. Cashmere Mafia. I’m reading…. Hick. I’m cooking… nothing, I’ve been completely uninspired the last few weeks. Bah!

I’ve been wearing Romance for years. It’s light and flirty and romantic. Love it! That is, until I was gifted Channel over the holidays, which I also love in a much more classical kind of way!

Romance rocks – I love it and wear it from time to time – it used to be my signature scent until I ventured out and bought some juicy – now I go back and forth…
