things that I am doing that are not blogging
March 24th, 2008 @ 11:30 pm | blonde moments | Post a CommentSpending $438 at Ann Taylor online, most of which I will probably get back when I return things. Free Shipping = No Risk.
Playing Guitar Hero and getting booed off the stage EVERY. SONG.
Watching husband rock out on Guitar Hero. Hawt.
Getting my arse kicked at kickboxing. And then walking home with a limp and a half.
(Should I mention that this is cardio kickboxing and there is no contact involved?)
Wishing that the KT Tunstall CD would miraculously show up on my lap. Can I employ the methods of “The Secret” and just wish really hard?
Making this oddball concoction for dinner: tater tots + steamed broccoli + egg over easy = Great big bowl of YUM. Husband thinks I am really weird for eating this.
Thinking about watching that HBO John Adams miniseries, is it any good?
All those things I said about getting booed off stage? So untrue. In the duration of writing this post I found some mad guitar skillz. I’d like to thank Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out For Summer” for helping me finish my first song launching my career as a hot lady rock star. Summer tour dates will be released tomorrow.

yay guitar hero!!

I’ll be your groupie! Okay, I’ll get more people too so you can have “groupies” and not just “a groupie.”
I’ve been wishing the Sara Bareilles CD would magically appear in my lap.
I’ve been wanting to see that John Adams thing too, but I don’t think I get HBO. Sad.

I’ve never tried Guitar Hero, but I love Rock Band, which is very similar. Congrats on making it to rock star lady status.

I think a video is in order to confirm your rock star status! I await with cell phone in hand, in lieu of a lighter.
For better or worse, I ran out of money as soon as AT started their free shipping offer. Probably better for my wallet, but – oh! Pretty things…

Ah, Guitar Hero.
I must thank Boston’s More Than a Feeling (from GH#1) for helping me become the rockin’ guitar player I always knew I could be. Hehe…

First and only time I played Guitar Hero, my ass was punked by a 10-year old. I’ve been shamed into hiding ever since. Though, I may come out of hiding for your tour!

Alas, I have never played Guitar Hero or Rock Band but I can guarantee I’d be booed off the stage.
However, I not only have the KT Tunstall CD but it is currently taking up residence in my CD Player. I could, uh, make a backup copy and ask you to keep it for me.

Hmm… your oddball concoction sounds quite delicious to me. I’m a big fan of anything involving tater tots…

Free shipping is truly a miracle. I order millions of dollars of stuff, and then I end up returning most of it. My urge to BUY BUY BUY is satisfied, and my credit card is left intact. Win/win!

I still have yet to play Guitar Hero. Why is that? I have a feeling there will be an opportunity in grad school, though.

I haven’t played Guitar Hero yet, but I’m pretty sure I’d get booed off the stage. You should have a “how to rock out” manual or something for us non-players

It’s the opposite over here… I am awesome at GH and Tim is awful.
It’s satisfying for me.
Also- I am thinking about ordering HBO just for that miniseries….

I’m sure this has already been stated many times, but Guitar Hero=Video Crack. My roommates and I want to buy it, but I fear for our social and academic lives.

I think your dinner sounds totally yum! And your husband can just keep on giving you funny looks, because I’ve HEARD about his crazy picky-eating ways.

I’m afraid that I will be forever stuck on the medium difficulty on Guitar Hero because my left hand is literally a paw. It’s all I can do to stretch my pinky to hit that 4th fret, and once it’s there, it lacks the strength to do much else. Shaaaaame!!

A big YES on the John Adams mini-series. Seriously, even if you just dvr it and watch it when there is nothing else good on TV…

Hey. That sounds suspiciously like MY Guitar Hero experience. Maybe you and I should get together, and battle it out to see who gets booed off first.

OK, but besides the limping and arse-kicking part, how are you liking kick-boxing? I’m super interested.
