hate: the last few times I’ve been to the grocery store I’ve forgotten to bring my canvas bags. BAD, BAD ME.
love: my blogging Weight Watchers buddies. No wonder WW advertises on BlogHerAds — I think 60% of us are customers! And the other 40% are natural skinny minnies who I want to punch. Kidding! Sorta.
hate: let me give you an example of my hunger level, ok? I was showing my officemate all about the joys of lolcats (she had never heard of them!) and I came across a photo of a little mouse eating a tiny Cheeto. And people, I WAS JEALOUS OF THE MOUSE.
love: we are going to move on from that statement and talk about the weather. How about this glorious sunshine!
hate: the beautiful weather comes on workdays, and the rain comes on the weekends.
love: my wedding rings.
hate: that I haven’t worn them in a week because I have some kind of allergic rash on my finger. The rash has been there on and off for months now. It’s sad, gross, and also depressing because even though I look like a single gal, the only dude that hits on me is the elevator repair man.
love: two words: Facebook + Scrabulous
hate: I feel so moody and crabby lately. Maybe I need to get more sleep.
love: when you leave your loves and hates in the comments. Happy Friday peeps!

I almost forgot a very important love/hate!
hate: Gray’s Anatomy. Ugh, the show is just horrible.
love: that new episodes are back on, because hating new episodes is infinitely better than hating old episodes. I must really hate myself to keep watching them.
Janet, on your wedding rings: after you wash your hands, make sure that the skin under your rings is completely RINSED (of soap) and then DRIED. That slightly moist soapiness can often cause rashes. I know a bunch of women from work who had the same issue with their rings because of this!

Love: I’m taking a trip with my grandmother this weekend!
Hate: By the time I drive from DC out to her house to pick her up, drive us to and from Asheville, and drive back to DC, I will have driven 20 hours in four days.
Love: Being able to get outside and enjoy DC in the spring.
Hate: That one million tourists have the EXACT SAME IDEA.

Ooh maybe I should join in with the weight watcher’s bloggers. I’m not doing WW, but at least then it would help me watch what I eat. I ate a handful of cheerios for dinner last night. Pretty sure that’s not on any diet.

Love: As I was reading about the lolmouse, my coworker who’s been kicking ass on WW started talking about how badly she wanted french toast RIGHT NOW.
Hate: Now I want french toast, too.
Love: I was down a pound yesterday according to the gym’s scale!
Hate: I had to cut my workout short because the dude next to me would not. stop. talking. to. me. Even though I had headphones in.
Love: It’s almost the weekend
Hate: Another 5-day work week next week. I am not cut out for this!

Love: You unashamedly just announced that you hate Grey’s! Woo hoo! I cannot freakin’ stand that show
Hate: My husband hated that show from word one, and I used to like it and complain endlessly that he ruined it with his horrible, sarcastic commentary. Now I have to admit he’s right
Love: Thought I had to work all day today but turns out I only have to go in for a couple of hours – awesome!
Hate: I need to use the extra time cleaning house for company we “might” have this weekend. You know, the guests who will be in town and “may” need a place to stay, but may not? Yeah.
Love: I will get a clean house out of the deal, either way!

Love: I am not getting frostbitten from the AC
Hate: I had to “fix” the AC vent by climbing onto a bookshelf and taping a folder over it. In a skirt.
Love: We have people coming over to grill and play games tonight!
Hate: We will probably play Guitar Hero, at which I am still sucksville.
Love: I am finally getting my rear in gear and ordering prints of pictures that have been backlogged for months.
Hate: I have to spend hours in front of the computer to do so.
Love: Spring-y flats!
Hate: I have a nasty blood blister under my big toenail, so flip-flops are a no-go, at least in semi-nice situations. Thank you, climbing.
Love: I ran twice this week and didn’t want to jab my eyes out.
Hate: My sore calves.

Hate – It’s supposed to rain tonight. Boo.
Love – that I’m FINALLY getting my new fence tomorrow
Hate – that I have to get up at 6am to go pick up the materials
Love – that I’m working until noon
Hate – that I don’t get a goof-off afternoon (tearing down old fence)
PS – @Charise – I just celebrated my 40th birthday last week with a big 60s themed bash and had a fantastic time. Don’t let anyone tell you birthdays aren’t fun after 25. Take it from me, they are a blast!!

Love: That housing prices are reasonable around here.
Hate: That all the houses come with one bathroom and faulty wiring and plumbing.
*On the wedding ring thing…I don’t know what kind of rings you have, but I’m allergic to gold. Yellow and white gold rings will eat away my flesh.
Sorry to be descriptive. 
On a happy note, it’s a good way to get a platinum band.

Once upon a time a fan, I didn’t watch the return of Grey’s this past Thursday, and I FEEL SO GOOD about it. Seriously. I feel like I’m FREE. And freedom feels amazing, like having something better to do with that hour of my life than watch an endless saga of gauze and ridiculousness.

Ughhhhh I always forget my tote bags when I go to the grocery store!
oh and I seriously giggled when i read about the cheeto…because I feel the exact same way!
