thankful for
a warm and loving and totally drama-free family, both my own and my husband’s (which makes holidays so nice. well, that plus all the napping)
stable jobs in times of economic turmoil that give us a chance to be a (small) part of Hope and Change
the house over our heads, even though I’m pretty sure the walls and windows are made out of swiss cheese
online shopping (new favorite store: delight.com)
my friends, near and far, who make me laugh and who laugh back at my crazy ideas and who have babies that I can borrow until I have my own one day
my favorite pizza + miniburger restaurant opening up in my neighborhood
iced coffee, even when it’s below zero
someecards. god, I love these things.

and, last but not least, I’m thankful for my blog friends, in-real-life readers, commenters, and even lurkers. I wish you a weekend full of heavy carbs, comfy pants, and only moderate amounts of people yelling at football on the television.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am resigned to excessive football-yelling today, but that’s where the Nap in the Other Room comes in. Mm, nap.

I am giving Trusty’s the ol’kick in the pants for food in your neighborhood…but not for seasonal brews.
Matchbox MAY have deserved a phone call… Dont you know I love the gouda chez and its the first place we went on a double (formerly triple) date…. It’s where the magic began!!!!!
