Watching

Important Things with Demitri Martin (Comedy Central, Wednesdays 10:30 ET)

You’ve probably seen him before on the Daily Show, but now he has his own show and it’s totally quirky but definitely funny.

Mrs. O

A blog just for following the First Lady’s fashion. I’m pretty much completely in love with Michelle O, and I adore her style.

Missing Already

The Wire

We just finished Season Four, and since we started our viewing of the series backwards with Season Five, that means I’ve now seen every single episode. And now I’m going through withdrawal. The Wire transcends what you think television can be, and the 4th season was the best.

Sewing

Bird Mobile

With all my crafty free time, I’ll likely finish sewing a dozen little birdies by 2012, but tell me this isn’t the cutest thing you have ever seen.

My 10 Year High School Reunion

First: OMG! Second: Why did I run for Senior Class President again?

Eating

matchbox

Matchbox DC on the Hill

The only thing not to like at this great miniburger and gourmet pizza destination in my very own ‘hood is the long wait time for a table. But we got lucky on Valentine’s Day and only waited 20 minutes!

Celebrating

My Sweet Husband’s 32nd Birthday

Though he would like to stay 29 forever, I love him exactly how old and smart and sexy as he is, and he makes me realize that a happy marriage is a great gift.

Tell me, what are you up to?

I am totally abstaining from planning my class reunion. Unless someone knocks me down and forces me to make a spreadsheet, I am avoiding it like the plague.

    Happy birthday, Andrew!

Well, I am seriously crossing my fingers that Baby Gapp and Andrew will share a birthday…or at least a birthday weekend!! Why can’t he just stick to Mom’s plan. Geez!

And awesome that you are planning the reunion. Which means…ours is next year. Yikes! Oh and the bird mobile is super cute. You need to teach me so much so I can be an awesome crafty mom.

I have been recruited to help with my 10 year reunion too! Not the planning, but trying to get people to come. I guess it’s a little different when you only have 55 people in your senior class!

Isn’t that the pizza place we went to??

Happy Birthday to Andrew. Getting older isn’t too bad.

I felt sort of guilty for not being more ambitious about class offices in high school, but now all I can think is THANK GOD I DIDN’T RUN FOR ANTYHING. Being lazy pays off! Who knew?

Happy bday Andrew! (And yes, Isabel, that is the place we went to! I remember it fondly!)

I have seriously got to watch The Wire. I’d never even heard of it a year ago, but since then, I’ve heard nothing but great things!

Matchbox is by far one of my favorite places in DC. I’ve yet to go there and get something that wasn’t delicious. Maybe we’ll go there for lunch this week. Yum!

Edgar and I were in DC recently and we were going to eat at Matchbox, but didn’t have enough time before the Caps game started. I remember it from our girlie bloggy meet-up. You know, girlie plus Joel.

Ten year reunion planning is fun- except then you have to commit to go!
The bird mobile is cute- but I think there is something v. similar at World Market- you could steal the birds from it for your mobile. Its some really inexpensive hangy thing…

What about eating Fage? The people want to know….

I had to laugh when I read this…I was class president, too. And I’m now in the process of planning my…wait for it…20th.

    Ugh.

Just think; you get to do this again in 10 years.
