love & hate: in like a lion
love: My daffodils and tulips have sprung through the ground, and I think they’ll be blooming by this weekend.
hate: I’ve still been wearing a coat to work; it’s still pretty chilly out! Come on, spring!
love: I’ve completed a fair number of items on my 30 before 30 list. Perhaps I should post a little update/summary?
hate: Total fail on the 30 days of flossing and the losing 20 pounds. Self-discipline is hard, yo.
love: Went on a date with the husband on Tuesday night. Ordered a pretty, pink cocktail named “Felicity Watermelon Smith” based on the name alone. She was lovely and delicious.
hate: Husband forgot to put our doggie bag in the fridge that night, and then last night we had a mouse. Coincidence?
love: My sister and baby Nolie are coming to visit AGAIN! Impromptu visit, and I am so very, very stoked. And, my sister’s two college roomies are coming, too. Shout out to Kari and Anne-Marie!
hate: No hate here, only excitement. 
love: I ordered a book from Better World Books and it arrived 48 hours after my order was placed – awesome!
hate: Super Sad True Love Story is not the most appealing title for a book, right? But I have no choice, Book Club dictates my reading!
love: Pandora’s “Rent, the Musical” station. I’ve been listening to a steady stream of Broadway musicals, Glee covers, and Disney songs. Oh, and some Moulin Rouge thrown in there, too.
hate: I’ve had “Defying Gravity” in my head all. week. long. And I cannot hit that High F, even in my own head.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that spring is (almost) here. The twenty five degree temps we had yesterday morning? Hate. But I can survive, knowing that at this point it’s just a fluke. March is here, it’s spring!

Love: I saw a squirrel today! This means spring is coming!
Hate: He totally creeped me out by sitting on a branch outside my kitchen window and staring Straight At Me. For a long time. Did not like.
Love: Tax return arrived! Spring clothes for everyone!
Hate: I need to be a bit careful and not lose my mind with the spending. (Or so says T. Whatevs.)

Better World Books is one of my most favorite book sources ever! I tend to order a stack of used books at time, usually when they send me a coupon, and my little thrifty heart does somersaults when I can get 10 books for under 30 bones.

I listen to “Glee Cast” Pandora station, it sounds very similar as defying gravity plays every few hours!
