“Mom started a blog a few weeks ago. Then Dad got jealous and had to go start his own blog and get more page views than Mom after only 2 days. One night, he stayed up all night blogging in bed, typing really loudly next to Mom’s head. She got kinda mad but she forgave him because she is really nice (she is my favorite parent even though she smothers me).
All this blogging means that sometimes I don’t get my dinner until after 9 PM, even though I start begging for it really early in the morning, at least 14 hours early. So I have decided to protest by sitting on the computer and typing as many 4s as I possibly can onto the screen. I’ll get off when they dig that rotisserie chicken out of the trash and feed the rest of it to me.”
i totally missed the fact that the cat was supposed to be typing. (i thought that was just supposed to describe the picture.) then i thought, you can’t tell people who your favorite parent is, janet. then i started over and figured it out. i think the point of this story is that i think it is creepy when you call andrew “dad”.

I just finished reading all your cat lady blogs…because I’m a cat lady also. I’m just not has good of a cat mommy as you are cos I don’t blog about my fur babies that often.
Love your blogs, you are a funny gal. The next time I make that hike up to DC it would be nice to meet you.
