apple lust

Can anyone out there give me a vaild reason why I should not buy this?

(You know, aside from the $1,500 price tag.)

In my defense, my ROTH IRA is fully funded this year and my current laptop is dying a slow, painful, spyware death.

Unless someone can give me a really good reason I might have to take the plunge.

  1. You shouldn’t get it because…. no one should walk around with a laptop that cool.

Uh… I got nuthin. Give in to the lust, girl! :)
(Sorry I’m not good at restraint, either!)

  2. I am interviewing with a agency where everyone has one. I saw them and was like I soooooo want this job!

    GO FOR IT!

ps - my brother has it, its awesome.

  3. You’d have to reformat our ipod?

  4. well, we have an iBook at home, and I have a pc laptop at work. Going between the two is hard. I have to think about what I’m doing.

If that won’t be a problem for you…then go for it!

Plus, Alexa is right..you have to refort your pod. That would suck.

  5. I don’t have my ipod sync with my computer automatically now, so will I still have to reformat?

Also, we use Macs at work, so I am currently switching between the two and this way I could solve that problem.

Paige, I really hope you get that job just for that reason :)

  6. Your ipod is PC-formatted currently, so you would have to re-do it. It formats to whatever you initially plug it into. There are lots of instructions on Apple’s website to make a switch.

  7. I say go for the iBook - except they may annouce a cool new laptop tomorrow, so don’t buy it tonight!

Alexa - when reformatting, do you lose all your music? I can’t quite remember what we figured out a few months ago.

  8. Give in - get it! Imagine how much fun your wedding planning will be on a pretty computer! I have one and I love it!

  9. I too must vote “get it.”

It’s too cute not to. I love ours.

It’s like a pet…only better, because it doesn’t shed and you can take it in Starbucks.

  10. I want to know how you work nonprofit (me too!) and still manage to fully fund your ROTH IRA? :)
