small successes
January 15th, 2006 @ 1:00 pm | food, wedding | Post a CommentI just watched my favorite Foot Network chef, Barefoot Contessa, tease me by making homemade toasted coconut marshmallows and super cheesy croque monsieurs (croques monsieur?) and I did not immediately run to the kitchen and/or nearest restaurant to start devouring the fattiest sugariest food I could find. And that is why, as of today, I have lost 5 whole pounds!

Congratulations!! It’s the small successes we need to celebrate. They soon add up to something big!

Congratulations! It takes much will power to withstand the temptations of the Barefoot Contessa

Good job! I have diet envy. I’ve tried to diet but have no will power. I’m sure you know this but don’t let trying to diet get you extra stressed out. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough on it’s own. When I was planning mine I got so stressed that I had a small patch of hair start to grow blonde. I am so weird!!!!

Congrats! It seems easier when theres a deadline/super freaking load of stress involved. You seem to have both of those in your favor;)
