love and hate friday

hate: Ann Taylor LOFT. Yes, you may remember them as a former love. A deep and once satisfying love, in fact. But yesterday when I went back to try to use my 20% coupon (on things I had puchased just one day earlier!)l, they totally wouldn’t help me. J.Crew would have, you jerks!
love: Andrew, for rubbing my feet every night without complaint. And I’m not even pregnant or anything! He is just nice like that.
hate: People with one year of job experience but 3-page resumes. Seriously, if you can’t edit down your two part-time jobs and two volunteer opportunities on to one page, all you are telling me is that you don’t know how to prioritize and edit your own writing. Unless your name is Condoleezza Rice, keep it to one page, people.
love: My wedding dress, which will arrive on or before August 14th. That sounds like eons from now, but just gives me more time to get skinny. Thanks for all the nice comments on it, and you better not be lying! (And if you are, please do not tell me.)
hate: Eminem, my recent lack of arts & crafts time, 5-day work weeks, people on the Metro who brag about being a Crip and beating up their mommas.
love: cherry blossoms, oranges, Walk the Line, Thin Mints, gmail, and only 6 more hours till the weekend!
I feel the impulse to join in on this love/hate Friday:
Love: My 4-day work week (lucky me!)
Hate: Paula Abdul’s neediness/clinginess and drama queen attitude.
Love: Sleeping in on Saturdays
Hate: When I’m not able to sleep in because baby is laying on my bladder!

So I just reworked my resume and I am proud to announce that I filled only one page! And, I love your love/hates so I stole the idea and made my own list on my blog.

Oooohhh, Thin Mints. Man alive, am I hungry.
And you’re so lucky to have a husband who does that. If I ask Kirk for a massage, he’ll poke at my shoulder blades with this thumbs for a minute, then pat my shoulder and grin like he’s done me a huge favor.

OMG, we should totally be friends. (Oh wait, we are!) My boyf rubs my feet (though I dont like returning the favor, hello feet are gross!), I love thin mints, and Walk the Line.
In addition, I hate tornadoes!
To end on a positive- I love Nashville.

I love Janet’s love/hate Friday and I love Micro Sweets soooooooooo much! YUM!! I also love that tomorrow is board game night and that I have Monday off for a long weekend in DC.
Hate the evil, wicked turn the Today Show has taken. sad.
