Monday at 4:45 PM it gets picked up by DHL. Overnighted to Memphis. Fixed by 6:00 AM. Overnighted back to me and delivered by 10:00 AM Wednesday. That’s 40 hours total. 100% free. Ask yourself what Dell would have done in the same situation?
hate: muggy weather. I nearly passed out on my run this morning and my coach even emailed me this afternoon to make sure I was okay. Hi, embarrassing!
love: BLTs. Okay, I promise I didn’t have another one for dinner tonight. But I would be lying if I said I didnt WANT one.
hate: job postings that require 4-6 years of post-college professional experience (management experience helpful!) but only want to pay $30-$33K per year. Hello living wage?
love: new season of Project Runway! (But shhhhh, don’t tell me what happened as I am TiVoing it for later) Ahhh, remember the good old days when I used to sew. Then I started planning a wedding. When I’m an old married gal I’ve gotta break out the sewing machine again.
hate: carpet cleaners who do not come fix your flooded carpet for THREE WHOLE WEEKS. Thank the babyjebus that they are scheduled to come this Friday. Cross your fingers and toes and knock on some wood people, because the mold has got to go.
love: the newest addition to my blogroll, Janet aka Slice of Pink. Her name is Janet and she is obsessed with pink. Might this remind you of someone?
hate: that all my friends are moving to Colorado and I am stuck here in the land of overpriced housing and “crime emergencies” and people who say soda instead of pop.
love: Tour de France, dangly earrings, an upcoming mini-vacation on a lake
hate: wearing glasses for two more weeks, ridiculous credit card bills, and 5-day work weeks

Hate: 5-day work weeks also. Too hard after the 4th of July, with no end in sight until Labor Day!
Hate: muggy weather that makes me feel like I am drowning every time I walk outside.
Hate: That my living in sin partner/boyfriend is out of town and I’ve been sleeping with wooden club (sort of like a baseball bat) in the bed because after 7 years in Baltimore, NOW I get scared for some reason.
Love: That it’s almost Friday…
Hate: That I have a paper due and class all day on Saturday.

Love: The really fun event I went to last night where they showed “Footloose” for free at the park on an inflatable movie screen! It was even perfect weather!
Hate: That my job is soooooo boring this time of year. Help, this time last year I was just returning from my Honeymoon and didn’t care, this year I’m BORED.

Love: My son showing his stuffed dog “big trucks” on our way to work / school this morning.
Hate: The early morning workouts - the bed is soooo nice, but when else do I have time? Gah!
Love: The way my hips are slimming from those damn early morning workouts!

Uh oh… Then that means that you hate me because I HATE when people say “pop” instead of “soda!” ACK it makes me want to stab them!!! Worse yet - people in the south who call everything “Coke!” It’s not f*cking “COKE” unless it’s Coca-Cola, retards!

I have to agree w/liberal banana on the whole soda/pop debate…and please don’t hate me either!
love: that I’m putting an offer on a house tomorrow!
hate: that I’ll have to wait to hear if it gets accepted
love: wood flooring hidden under nasty carpet in home we are trying to buy
hate: that I’ll have to rip up said nasty carpet in home we are trying to buy.
side note: I’m really concerned about that mold growing in your apartment. I’m worried you will get sick from it, because that stuff can be SO dangerous!! Are you feeling okay lately? Pour a huge gob of bleach on it or something (or at least say you did) to make me feel better, okay??

Love: finally having a new fridge and washer/dryer
Hate: that it took TWO WEEKS without a fridge and SIX weeks without my promished washer and dryer.
Love: That I am firm in my decision to grow out my bangs.
Hate: The process of growing them out. Those “snappy clips” are hot, right?
Love: That my longtime friend Andrew brought Janet into my life and now I have a great girlfriend. (sappy, I know but it’s true).
Hate: That she can’t come to my party so she can meet my sister, my other girls and so we can get drunk and gossip.
