another lame excuse for a post

Washington has officially welcomed us back from vacation with oppressively hot and humid weather. Actually, Michigan was just as warm, but we were able to keep cool by jumping in the lake and riding in the boat for hours on end.

It was quite relaxing to get away for four days, although I could have used another four. I suppose then I would just be twice as behind as I already am in writing on the blog, reading and commenting on other blogs, laundry, eating healthy, returning voice mails, paying bills, and oh, planning the wedding, which is getting scarily close. (As in, 100 days away close.)

More to come later, when my brain is a bit more adjusted to stringing together two or more coherent thoughts.

Update: I have been informed by a very reliable source, the picture-taker herself (and hopefully my future cousin), that the hottie in the photo is indeed Andrew!

  7. Just for the sake of full disclosure, I didn’t take that photo. One of the cousins did with a much fancier camera than mine. Also, I’m not sure who is skiing in that photo…but I don’t think it’s Andrew. Could be though. But I’m thinking it’s a cousin.
