hate: ants. Why must they invade my house?
love: the Shandy - half wheat beer, half lemonade. Yummmmm!
hate: that I am so tired it hurts. And that I kinda sucked at blogging this week because of it (sorry!). And that I have to go running in 6 hours, so the tiredness isn’t going to end soon.
love: the advice of my commenters, who steered me away from these decidedly suicidal shoes (which leads me to….)
love: these NEW shoes, which I hope are sexy and also practical, and which were on sale at Ann Taylor, and which I will (um, mostly likely) wear to my wedding (3rd time is a charm, right?)
hate: a report I need to finish at work that will just. not. write. itself.
love: my new eyes, which were called “perfect” by my doctor this morning and then shown off to visiting doctors as an example of perfectness
hate: black pants that fade after just three washes
love: that I get to hold and snuggle a three-week-old baby on Saturday night

You need Terro Liquid Ant Killer for the ants. It’s the only thing that works. It’ll attract those little buggers out of wherever they are hiding, and they will take it back to their hiding place and they will all die. So you can’t kill them while they are out, you have to let them take it back. Seriously, it’s the best. It’s the only thing I’ve ever gotten to work. Enough about my passion of ant killers - LOVE the shoes!

What is it about August that makes lemonade so, so irresistable? AS and I had pink lemonade and vodka this week. Delish.
Also, you have totally inspired me on the Lasik thing. The second I mentioned interest to my mom, she went crazy, calling her surgeon to see if she could get a referral for New York, and her financial planner to let her know that we’ll be needing that money, after all. Did you have to wear glasses instead of contacts for a few months before the surgery?

Hate: That I haven’t been to visit you in DC even though you’ve lived there 2+ years and you haven’t been to visit me in Texas even though I’ve lived here 3 years. We need to get on that!

Love the shoes. Love them (but I also liked the last ones).
I hate that fact that I’ve only got a few more diapers for Babboo. And he keeps pooping today. He’s on poopie diaper number FOUR and I only have 2 more diapers until Ken gets home with a new pack tonight.
