the un-honeymoon
October 26th, 2006 @ 11:24 pm | blonde moments, wedding | Post a CommentI think it’s a seriously good thing I am not really a newlywed right now, because a girl should not have to spend her second day of marriage:
- At work
- Getting drunk over a bottle of wine at dinner with an old friend while discussing religion and relationships
- Watching The Biggest Loser on TiVo at her friends’ house, where she had to go on the way home because she broke the seal and really, really had to pee
- Home alone because her boyfriend/husband/fiance/whatever-he-is went out of town for the night
Yes, it’s a good thing I didn’t really get married yesterday, because this would truly be one crappy honeymoon. It sure was a fun night out with friends though! Now if I can just get myself to get out of bed in the morning and go running, as I do still have to fit into that wedding dress in two weeks…
Thanks to all for your sweet comments from yesterday. I do love all you crazy internet gals so much! Wine = much love tonight! Smootches!

Wine = fun, honeymoon or not. Congrats on the wedding, and good luck with the Wedding wedding!

Agreed with Sandra - can’t go wrong with wine involved !! (Unless you’re mixing the red with the wine, and then oh lordy..)
Hey! The real honeymoon will still involve wine. IN MEXICO! Mexican wine! Fweee!

You broke the seal? Never break the seal! But you know that. Sounds like a fun evening. Execept for the fact that Andrew is out of town.

I always have a problem with the seal. Actually, I always have to pee, so it’s more of a perpetual “seal” issue. Wow, maybe this was TMI.

I hope your real honeymoon is a litte more romantic (oh - and that andrew is there to enjoy it!)

I love that you don’t know what to call Andrew. That part is hilarious. I would just him “Peter” because that’s funny (but only to me).
Happy (non) honeymoon.
