old photos

We’re enjoying a nice lazy day here in Snowville. The news guy said we got 10 inches but my aching back muscles swear they shoveled at least 15. I spent some time this morning scanning in photos of my childhood (inspired by Isabel and Zandria). Here are some of my favorites, and the entire flickr set can be found here.

  1. Those could not be any more adorable! I especially love the first one with your dad and the animals. It makes me wonder what pictures my boys will love to look at one day.

  2. too cute! you and your sister look so much alike!

  3. I looked at the top photo and though “hmm that looks so much like part of Eastern Washington” but I forgot you lived in Oregon for a time. . .semi close though

    Cute photos!

  4. Aww girlies, look at that hair. Too cute!

  5. Oh my gosh, I love childhood pics! Yours are great. Your fashion choices remind me of some of mine. :-)

  6. I think I had that wipeable bib. The top one just KILLS me: Dad, adorable baby girl, dog and cat? I smell apple piiiee. Stay warm!

  7. Oh, my gosh! That is so awesome. It’s nice to be an inspiration. Especially right now, when you’re actually visiting your family and have an opportunity to get copies of those old photos. Too cool! I’m going to go check out the rest of your Flickr set. :)

  8. That first photo is amazing. It’s just….beautiful.

    (Sorry about the snow.)

I’m off to look at the rest of the photos!

(Oh, and you lived in Oregon when you were a kid? Me to. Maybe we were neighbors!)

  9. These are really, really amazing. These scanned so well, too!

I’m sad to see those snow photos. Know that I am sending you some sunshine from surprisingly warm DC.

  10. That first photo looks like it should be in a museum. Amazing.
    Happy New Year!
