demoted from my position as sugar momma
June 18th, 2007 @ 1:27 pm | blonde moments, love | Post a CommentAre you guys ready for the most anticlimactic announcement ever?
Andrew got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And not just any job, but his potential DREAM JOB!
(Commence applause and cheering from the crowd!!!!!!!!)
It’s anticlimactic because the offer came in last week, but between trading voicemails and salary and start date negotiations, it wasn’t final until this morning. I am so happy that he held out and didn’t take the job that would have moved us to San Francisco, because this job is with the same great firm but here in DC. Some things are just meant to be, I think.
I have been bragging to anyone within earshot about how great this job is, mostly because Andrew’s new boss has his own Wikipedia page. Clearly, it’s not hard to impress me.
So anyway, we can finally turn off the {PAUSE} button on our life because we know we’re going to be here for a little while. Commence the house hunting!

Dumb blonde moment of the weekend: In between somber visits to Arlington National Cemetery, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, and the Holocaust Museum, yours truly saw a Lost Dog poster and remarked, “Gosh, there is nothing more sad than a lost pet.”

woo hooooooooo!!!
