hate: that I keep oversleeping and skipping breakfast. Bad! That whole “here have one day off in the middle of the week but then we will yank you back in” didn’t work so well with me
love: hubby and I are mostly in agreement on what kinds of houses we like and don’t like
hate: 98.4% of them are “don’t likes”
love: the story of Isabel meeting her #1 favorite celeb/hot musician! I think she cultivated her stalking skills by watching Veronica Mars
hate: waaaaaaah I am still mourning the loss of Veronica thanks to the heartless TV execs!
love: hubby gave me flowers the other night for no reason at all
hate: he had yesterday and today off of work and I didn’t
hate: when houses you really like turn out to be right in the middle of the projects, which means you probably really shouldn’t buy them no matter how cute the backyard is. (The crappy location is probably why we could actually afford a backyard.)
hate: DC will not be welcoming Butterstick II anytime soon
hate: flourescent lighting
hate: that I can’t think of anything else I am loving right now. Hello crabby lady.

I’m feeling exactly the same way about coming back after ONE lousy day off for the fourth. The only upside is that HOORAY! yesterday felt like Monday and today is FRIDAY.

Love: Casual Friday!
Love: I fit in my skinny jeans for Casual Friday!
Hate: I need to go to the gym in a major way to keep fitting in them, after eating almost a whole bag of Trader Joe’s garlic fries last night.
Love: My cats are finally, finally getting along.
Hate: They always want to play with me at 4am.
Love: We painted the bathroom on Weds.
Hate: Painting required removal of the toilet tank, which means we are reduced to one bathroom until it’s back together.
Hate: the one bathroom is down an uneven flight of stairs and I almost bailed 3 times last night when I got out of bed to pee.
Love: That it’s Friday! Casual Friday! And, hopefully, Go Home Early Friday!

Love: I found paperdenim&cloth jeans for $15 yesterday, that is correct. $15
Love: that the inseam is long enough to wear with heels… I may have bought 3 pairs.
Hate: That it’s so hot no one in their right mind would wear dark wash jeans… nudist colony anyone?
Love: That a cute boy left flowers on my car last night.
Hate: that it’s so hot they are already wilted.

Love: VACATION!
Hate: That I head back to work on Monday after two and a half weeks of vacation bliss.
Love: The Salmon River in Idaho, and the wonderful people I met.
Hate: Not seeing Janet for two and a half weeks.
Love: I get to see her on Sunday, if she agrees to pick me up from the airport!
