hate: the 22 minute phone call I had with my credit card company last night that went something like this:
me: Hi, I’m calling because I recently changed my name and the card you sent me with my new name is spelled incorrectly
them: Okay, that was our mistake and we’re sorry about that. We have to file that as a lost or stolen card and we will get you a new one.
me: Ummmm, okay. But it’s not lost or stolen. It’s right here in front of me. It’s just wrong.
them: Will you be filing a police report for your stolen card, ma’am?
me: MY CARD WAS NOT STOLEN. What am I going to tell the police? ‘I’m sorry, I need to file a police report that my credit card company is full of idiots?’
love: Dunkin Donuts iced coffee
hate: trying to eat the last of what’s in the fridge before vacation. My dinner last night was Boursin cheese, saltines, and turkey bacon. Breakfast? More turkey bacon.
hate: no time to get a pedicure before my lakeside vacation
love: after a few planes, trains, and automobiles, I’m finally here at my destination. Have a great weekend and leave your loves and hates for my return!
We recently signed up for a new credit card. Our last name was spelled wrong on the first card they sent us…..and the three subsequent cards they’ve had to send have all had some very interesting spellings…none of them correct. Aren’t credit card companies fun?

Love: That I’ve never tried turkey bacon, and never will and that it doesn’t exist in Australia. It sounds bizarre!

Wow, credit card companies really are stupid. I can’t believe they totally ignored you when you said your credit card was right in front of you. What idiots!

I am finally back from vacation and I found my winnings in front of my door last night!

22 minutes? Rookie. I once spent over 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Comcast going over years of records and bills.
