would you like the good news or the bad news first?
September 5th, 2007 @ 12:51 pm | dc, home | Post a CommentGood news: The house inspection went really well. We will probably negotiate some small things, but nothing that should be a deal-breaker. So we’ve crossed that hurdle. (A very big hurdle in a 98-year-old house, imho.)
Bad news: How about I let the photos speak for themselves?
Good news: I am okay. The guy who hit me is okay. We both have insurance. Everything is going to be just fine.

At least you didnt have an iphone in the trunk.

I feel your pain (or the pain of your car!) This happened to me earlier in the summer. But you are right, the important thing is nobody was hurt and it is just metal and paint and rubber.

OMG… those pictures make me want to cry!! Your brand new shiny car!
I’m glad everyone is OK. And sounds like it wasn’t your fault… that’s always a bonus (not that I know what it’s like, since every accident I’ve ever been in was my fault, minus one)
(I’ve been in a lot of accidents, OK? Don’t judge)

Remember how we have identical cars? Well, maybe I should have mentioned that I was in a pretty big car accident TWO DAYS after I got my Mazda 3. I had to have basically the whole front of my car replaced. But it is still running great and looks perfect! Sorry your car got crunched too. And I’m glad you and the other guy are ok.

oh SUCKAGE! New car! I’m glad you’re okay.
When my car was just 6 days old, someone hit and run in the parking lot. I didn’t even see the front headlight smashed in until I got home. I WAS SO MAD.
Yay for house!

Awwww, you must have been so upset! Even though it’s just a car… still, we get attached to our cars sometimes, especially if they are new and shiny.
What a bummer. I’m so glad you are okay!

I’m sorry you had an accident, everyone in DC is just so in a hurry to have accidents. It’s the reason why I have to prepare myself mentally for three days to drive up there to visit my mother. I just cannot contend with the City.
