on my wishlist
March 18th, 2008 @ 10:48 pm | pretty things | Post a CommentWith no gift giving holidays in the near future, this is merely an exercise in procrastination. I really should be working on the house. But enough chatter, here’s what I’m wishing for right now.
1* peacock gocco screen print, esty/jenskelley ($12)
2* keep calm and carry on vintage poster replica, keep calm gallery (£18)
3* sky umbrella, moma store ($48)
4* wii fit, will be released in the US on may 19 ($??)
5* wrought iron patio furniture, home depot (~$79-$199)
Disclaimers: My birthday is in 97 days. I bought the peacock print for myself already. A variety of keep calm posters can also be found on etsy. And I’m kinda scared to get the Wii Fit because I hear that it tells you, “You’re Fat!“

Google reader recommended you to me… Love your blog! And Wii Fit sounds really awesome minus the fat comment.

This might sound funny, but I have this love for all things peacock (as long as they’re cute). I NEED this print for myself!

When I was growing up our across-the-street-neighbor had peacocks. Very pretty … very noisy.

I really like the sign, and would love to get Wiifit. Maybe I should work on getting a Wii first.

Ooooh, I love that umbrella. And given the winter gray in Chicago is now turning to spring gray (i.e., snow turns to rain), I could use something like that to cheer me up.

Wow. I so need that poster. Perhaps three or four - one at home, one at work, one in the car, and one pasted to me at all times. My birthday is in less than 30 days - now I have present ideas!!

Wow. I should stop being so amazed by how our tastes are EXACTLY IN SYNC, but still when I see you posting up items for your wish list that I either A) have or B) have seen and put on my own wishlist. It’s just uncanny.
Also, I am SO excited that you found where one can buy that “Keep calm” sign. I saw one somewhere a while back, and have been searching ever since!

I had no idea that this Wii Fit business even existed. I totally want it now! It will probably tell me that my fitness age is 97, but still…fun!

Wii Fit? What exactly does that do? I must research!
Is it wrong that one of the things I am most looking forward to about living alone is the ability to do workout videos in my apartment without shame?

Oh I love the keep calm poster, I definitely need to get one of those, haha.
And the Wii Fit!? Although I need a Wii first, definitely looks like a good substitute to a gym visit.

I think I’d cry if a Wii told me I was fat. Even though it’s blatantly honest, that is so not the point.
Love that poster!

I love that you included something you’ve already bought on your wishlist. I put things I’ve already done on my to-do list sometimes, just so I can feel better about crossing things off.
Where do you find all this cute stuff, and when are you going to start a side business as a decorator??
